CDAR
Cave Diving Autonomous Rescuer

C.DAR is an autonomous sea scooter built especially for navigation in underwater caves.

While diving, the device is located on the diver's oxygen tanks, while two sonar sensors gather information and create a 3d mapping of the cave, including real-time location tracking.

In case of emergency, C.DAR will gain complete control. It will wait for you to hold it, and then navigate you to a safe area: out of the cave, out of the deep pressure area, or even into an air pocket within the cave.

After the dive, the user can plug the device into a computer and download all the gathered data that CDAR has fought during the dive, analyze it, and share it with other divers of the community
