Jazwa is a kit combining two worlds - Turkish coffee and a movement called the third wave of coffee. Turkish coffee is an ancient way of making coffee by brewing very fine ground coffee in hot water with no filter. The Third wave of coffee is a movement led by both consumers and manufacturers to consume, enjoy, and appreciate high-quality coffee. Jazwa encourages the user to brew Turkish coffee ideally - for a better taste of coffee.

The design is inspired by the eastern style taken from the traditional Turkish coffee pot and the western style usually seen in the products the third wave uses to brew coffee. The base shapes are simple and characterized by functional minimalism. Those shapes get tiny twists that make the general design more eastern style.

The main material I have used is Copper. Copper functions well because of its excellent heat conducting. But alongside its efficiency in making coffee, Copper has been used for many years and has a cultural mark, especially related to Turkish coffee. The material I used for the cup and the handles is ceramic. The ceramic insulates the heat properly and contrasts with the copper, creating a more balanced design.
